Ingredients
- 1 packet McCormick Chili Powder (or create your own)
- 2 each ripe tomatoes (or cheat and get a can of diced tomatoes)
- 1 each white onion
- 1 can chili beans Brooks brand chili beans are best but kidney beans are mostly low-carb
- 2 pounds Ground beef at least 20% fat if you are low-carb focused - you need fat in your diet!
- 1 can tomato paste (8 oz) optional unless you like thick chili/stew
- 2 each jalapeno peppers optional
- 2 Tbsp chili powder add to taste
- 1 packet shredded cheese Sharp cheddar recommended, chef's choice

Instructions
- Brown hamburger in pan while chopping onions, dicing tomatoes (or opening can of diced tomatoes, cheater), peppers, etc.
- Mix tomatoes, tomato paste, onions, chili beans, peppers together into the slow-cooker/crock pot
- drain hamburger, stir into mixture above, add in chili powder
- Cover and cook on low heat 4-6 hours (the longer the better but I usually break after 3 and steal some from the simmering pot)
- Serve with shredded cheese in lieu of crackers
